  1. General Non-Combatant Rules:
    1. Non-combative status applies to all entities a member belongs to.
    2. As with all regulations, the citizen registration number must be clearly displayed on rosters and life scrolls.
    3. Once the application is submitted, an applicant must commit to holding Non-Combative status for a minimum of six months.
      1. A formal request may be made to the Parliament after six months for the registration in order for the Non-Combative registration to be removed.
      2. In the case of extreme circumstances the NC registration may be revoked if requested before the 6 month duration has expired. Should this become a necessity a log (550 words or more) may be submitted to the Parliament describing the reasons for the need to switch to combatant status. (Log must be done IC and may contain another person. However, only the Non-Combatant requesting combative status will have their actions/words counted toward the 550 minimum.)
    4. Unless otherwise requested, the Non-Combative status does not expire. It is permanent.
      1. There is one exception to the above rule: should proof of a Non-Combatant being violent or aggressive be presented to the Parliament; after a review their status may be revoked for a determined period on a case by case basis.
    5. Once permanent Non-Combative status is revoked a person may not under (temporary NC status not included) reapply until six months from the day the registration has passed.
  2. Temporary Non-Combatant Status:
    1. A temporary Non-Combative status may be obtained by sending a letter of request to the entire Parliament along with all reason and any other required material listed below. When requests are made include all of your Grand Commanders and Deputy Grand Commanders.
    2. Temporary Non-Combative status is defined as becoming Non-Combative for a reason other than pacifism.
    3. There are only two valid reasons a member of the UoFG may request a temporary Non-Combative status. These reasons are listed below.
      1. Pregnancy:
        1. If a member is pregnant temporary Non-Combative status may be requested.
        2. The status period must be stated clearly in the application.
          1. This Non-Combative status may be revoked by writing a formal request. It is not the responsibility of the Parliament to interfere with your story-lines.
          2. On the date specified, the Non-Combatant status will be removed whether the child has been born or not.
          3. Should Non-Combative status be requested further, it will be considered as a permanent Non-Combative status and the rules of permanent status apply.
          4. Once expired, another request for pregnancy temporary Non-Combative status may not be made for 90 days from the date of expiration.
      2. Severe Injury:
        1. If a member is dismembered or otherwise disfigured in any way that is likely to heal in time, the member may request temporary Non-Combative status.
        2. A log of the injury being inflicted must be submitted in the letter requesting the temporary Non-Combative status or the request will be denied.
        3. The status period must be stated in full within the request.
          1. This Non-Combative status may be revoked by writing a formal request. It is not the responsibility of the Parliament to interfere with your story-lines.
          2. On the date specified, the Non-Combatant status will be removed whether the injury has healed or not.
          3. Should Non-Combative status be requested further, it will be considered as a permanent Non-Combative status and the rules of permanent status apply.
          4. Once expired, another request for severe injury temporary Non-Combative status may not be made for 90 days from the date of expiration.
    4. Should temporary Non-Combative status be due to expire while any of the Non-Combatants entities are in war, the Non-Combative stats will be extended until the end of the war.
    5. Temporary Non-Combatant status, like permanent status, must be shown on a War Roster.
  3. What is Allowed with Non-Combatants:
    1. Non-combatants may obtain guild strength (4dxx).
    2. Non-combatants may obtain mage and heal strengths (1dxx).
    3. Non-combatants may be the target of a Capture Attempt by a bounty hunter, but the capture must be made through non-violent means (Example: Nets, Ropes, Etc.)
    4. Non-combatants may be the target of a Thief Attempt by a thief.
    5. Though a Non-Combatant may not take advantage of a retaliation strike in either a Thief Attempt or a Capture Attempt, if one of their Champions is present that Champion may take the strike in either situation.
    6. Non-combatants may proctor any UoFG match.
    7. Non-combatants may heal in any UoFG match that allows healing.
    8. Non-combatants may cast in any UoFG match that allows support mages. (No battle mage)
    9. Non-combatants may participate in matches involving weapons, where the weapons are not directed at another opponent. (Example: Archery Competition, Etc.)
    10. Non-combatants may participate in matches that do not involve bodily harm. (Example: Food Fights, Races, Non-Violent Contests, Etc.)
  4. What is Not Allowed with Non-Combatants:
    1. Assassination Attempts, Dead or Alive Contracts, or a Mock Contract of either type may not ever be placed against any Non-Combatant.
    2. A Non-Combatant may not be barred from any UoFG sanctioned event.
    3. Non-combatants may not act as a bodyguard or champion.
    4. Non-combatants may not participate (as an opponent) in any event match that inflicts bodily harm. Matches included in this are Honor Matches, Mass Spars, Prisoner of Wars, Mass Prisoner of Wars, Release Matches, Death Matches or Mass Death Matches.
    5. Non-combatants may not act as a battle mage.
    6. Non-combatants may not apply for or retain an Assassin registration.
    7. Non-combatants may not apply for or retain a Thief registration.
  5. Champions of Non-Combatants:
    1. Champions are considered the Non-Combatants bodyguard.
    2. All permanent Non-Combatants are allowed three champions, but may only use one in the event of a hostile action made against the Non-Combatant.
    3. Temporary Non-Combatants for reason of pregnancy may employ Champions, but must wait 90 days after their NC status ends to invoke the status for reason of pregnancy again.
    4. Temporary Non-Combatants for reasons other than pregnancy may not employ Champions.
    5. Champions may make a retaliation strike for their Non-Combatant when their Non-Combatant is targeted for a Capture Attempt or a Thief Attempt.
    6. All permanent Non-Combatants have rights granted to them by the Assassin Mandates. If a Non-Combatant is the proper rank to hold a bodyguard, than any of the Non-Combatants Champions may act as a bodyguard for the Non-Combatant.
    7. Champions must be in the room before Log On to be allowed to act as either a bodyguard or retaliator for their Non-Combatant.
    8. Like all bodyguards, Champions must be declared in both the Non-Combatants life scroll and the Champions life scroll.
