    3. Advancement of Healer Rank:
      1. All members of the forum begin their healing careers at d40 Healer Rank.
      2. Members May submit up to four (4) logs per calendar month to be credited toward their healer rank. Members are encouraged to maintain records of their submissions.
      3. Healer Logs are records or orbs showing proof of utilization of Healer skills.
        1. Healers may submit any legal sanctioned UoFG match in which they successfully acted as a support healer. Sanctioned is defined as a match that awards Currency (CP).
        2. Healers may also submit orbs demonstrating their healing skills used on others in non-structured settings (adventure logs, attending to births, resurrection ceremonies, etc.) Log must be no smaller then 325 words.
        3. Healers selected to create enhancers, teach classes, or perform special projects for the Healing Administration may be compensated with log credit as well as regular CP earning.
        4. The Healer Administration reserves the right to refuse to credit any log toward a member’s advancement. A member who feels their log is being unfairly rejected may appeal to the Parliament as a whole to review the case.
  2. Combat Healing:
    1. Combat support includes Healers as well as any other support attempts (battle/support mages).
      1. No more than 4 members of combat support (healers and mages combined) may be used for any one combatant in a match. Furthermore, neither combatant shall be allowed to hold more than 1 member of combat support over their opponent at initiative. Other than that, any combination of combat support may be used (e.g. 3 mages, 1 healer).
      2. Any one person may sign up in a match to be both a mage (battle or support) and a healer, but may not act as both in the same round.
      3. Any registered healer may self-heal in any healing permissive match.
      4. A healer may heal only once per match.
    2. Breakdown of matches that allow healers, unless otherwise stated:
      1. PoW (Prisoner of War)
      2. RM (Release Match)
      3. DM (Death Match)
    3. Breakdown of matches that do not allow healers:
      1. HM (Honor Match)
      2. AA (Assassination Attempt)
      3. CA (Capture Attempt)
      4. DA (Dead or Alive)
      5. TA (Thievery Attempt)
      6. MC (Mass Combat)
    4. Combat Healer Protocol:
      1. Any registered healer who wishes to heal in a match must be present at Log On.
      2. It is not the proctor’s responsibility to offer healers. Opponents must find combat support on their own and direct them to the battle.
      3. 10 minute punt and 3 minute action rule affects combat support as well as opponents.
      4. Healers do not have to state no-contest and may leave once they have completed their task (whether it is successful or not).
      5. Healers must state: Name, Entity, Citizen Registration, Healer Rank, for whom they are healing, and enhancer for their presence in a match to be noted. Proctor will prompt for this information in matches that allow Combat Support.
      6. Dead and captured healers may not heal.
      7. Matches will be voided if an ineligible healer changes the outcome of the match.
      8. An incorrectly stated registration number, for a healing enhancer, may result in the match being voided if it is not caught in time and corrected.
      9. Combat support cannot be called before the start of the second round and must be called before an opponent’s attack phase. No combatant is not required to call all support in the same round, nor must both combatants use support at the same time.
  3. Healing Enhancers: (Refer to enhancers page for general Enhancer mandates)
    1. Healing enhancers may be employed ONLY by registered healers.
    2. Healing enhancers must be listed on the healer's life scroll (profile).
    3. Healing enhancers must be listed on the Guild Enhancer Roster submitted to the forum each month.
    4. Listing must include item name, registry, modifier, and to whom it is assigned.
  4. Creation of Enhancers:
    1. Healing enhancers are crafted/upgraded by placed order only and assigned to Healers via a rotating lottery.
    2. Any Healer of rank d44 or higher is included in the lottery for any order in which they are eligible.
    3. Upon reaching the designated rank of d44, if a healer wants to be able to craft enhancers, they must present a +1 test piece to the Healing Administration. It is not a requirement that this is done by all healers, only healers that wish to craft enhancers.
    4. Healer Enhancer Orders/Upgrades need to be sent from the purchasing guild’s Grand Commander and sent to the Healer Administration.
    5. A Healer has 48 hours to respond to an enhancer upgrade/creation request, acknowledging if they wish to complete or pass on the opportunity. A Healer who passes on the opportunity is withdrawn from the current round of the Lottery.
    6. A Healer has five (5) days to complete an order from the time of his/her acknowledgment or it will be reassigned to another and their name withdrawn from the current round of the Lottery.
    7. Craftsmanship is up to the Healer unless the order includes specific requests. A minimum amount of work is required per enhancement modifier (See Administration Mandates)
    8. Healers earn 10 percent commission on the sale or upgrade cost of the enhancer, to be paid to the guild or clan of their choice.
    9. The Lottery is designed to ensure fair distribution of enhancer orders. As each healer is offered the opportunity to craft or upgrade an enhancer, they are removed to allow others the same opportunity. Once all have been given the opportunity, the Lottery begins again.

Scoring A Heal

  1. Scoring a Heal:
    1. Healing points are deducted from the score of the opposite combatant for whom they are healing.

      Example:
      Proctor: Round 6, Fighter A 17 vs. Fighter B 30, begin
      Fighter B: Healer please, MageOHealin.
      Proctor: MageOHealin, begin when ready
MageOHealin: ::Treats the worse of his wounds with her +1 Healing Amulet::
OnlineHost: Healing Hannah has rolled 1 56-sided die 32
      Proctor: 4+1=5, mid-round score, 17-25, continue

    2. Scoring uses the UoFG Healing scoring chart:

      Dice Roll
      Points
      1-14 0
      15-19 1
      20-24 2
      25-29 3
      30-34 4
      35-39 5
      40-44 6
      45-49 7
      50-54 8
      55-59 9
      60 10

    3. Healing Enhancers are applied only with a successful heal (one point or better) and must be stated with the modifier in the Heal action.
    4. Event or War matches must follow the guidelines provided on the flier or in the terms of ward. This may supersede the mandate restrictions on employing healers and other support attempts.

Resurrections (Beta Testing)

  1. Resurrections
    1. Resurrections are optional to every event, war, and assassin contract. Guild leaders should specify in event fliers, and may opt to disallow them for ordered contracts.
      1. There is a forty-eight (48) hour "cool down" period before an assassinated target may be resurrected.
        1. Assassin targets get no more than two resurrection attempts. If there are two failed attempts the target will remain dead the full seven (7) days.
      2. Cool down periods for events or wars are to be determined as part of the terms.
        1. The number of attempts allowed in an event are left to the hosts to determine.
        2. War terms will default to allow one resurrection attempt per death in times of war, with a two (2) hour cool down.
    2. Any healer is eligible to participate in a resurrection.
    3. A successful resurrection brings the deceased back to life, without having to wait out the full period of death as determined by the means of death (I.E. assassination, event, war).
  2. Resurrection Attempts
    1. A resurrection attempt is performed by one or two registered healers.
    2. A resurrection attempt is three rounds.
    3. To be successful the healer(s) must heal the deceased by fifteen (15) hit points to revive them.
    4. Actions should be specific to the ritual being performed, and will be reviewed for quality.
  3. Payment
    1. A successful attempt will pay 5cp to the healer(s) involved.
    2. A failed attempt will pay 1cp to the healer(s) involved.
    3. Proctors will receive 3cp for properly logged and submitted attempts.
  4. Submitting An Attempt
    1. Assassin Resurrection Attempts should be sent to the Healing Ministry and the Trinity
      (mystikspride, juliamalichi, fireangelmysti)

-War/Event Resurrection Attempts should follow the guidelines in their terms for submission.
